After the closing date, all applications undergo the following stages
1: Eligibility confirmationLiquor & Gaming NSW checks each application is eligible to apply against the eligibility criteria available here.
2: Competitive assessmentAll eligible applications progress to the assessment stage. Applications are assessed by an independent panel of subject matter experts against the assessment criteria. The panel’s assessment informs recommendations to the Minister for funding consideration.
3: Notification of application outcomeAll applicants (successful and not supported) will be notified of their outcome via the email address supplied on the application form.

Successful applicants are required to sign and return a Funding Deed. Where applicable, applicants will also be required to forward evidence that development consent and/or owners consent has been obtained, before funds will be released.Organisations applying for funding are required to have a minimum Public Liability Insurance cover of $20 million where capital works are being undertaken. It is the responsibility of the applicant organisation to ensure that it has appropriate insurance coverage in place for the project works or activities, and its day-to-day operations.The Grants Team may conduct spot checks as required to evidence the delivery of the project.
