    The Star Self Exclusion Program

    The Star recognises that some customers experience gambling problems and are unable to control their spending. The Star has a comprehensive problem gambling program in place to provide help to those who need it. The BetCare program was created for The Star and has been designed to help you gain control over your gambling behaviour. The program provides free specialist, confidential counselling service for people with gambling problems and their families.

    Exclusion Order

    The casino operator, the Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority (Authority) or Police may, by order given to a person verbally or in writing, prohibit the person from entering or remaining in a casino. When this order is given the person must not enter the Casino at any time until such time as the exclusion has been revoked.

    A person who is given an exclusion order may apply to the Authority within 28 days after the order is given for a review of the order unless the order was given by the Authority or at the direction of the Commissioner of Police. If you apply after 28 days your application cannot be considered.
