Investigating community gaming activities

People and organisations often conduct community gaming activities such as lotteries and games of chance.

They do this to raise funds, as a social pastime or entertainment, or as a way to sell and promote their products and services.

Liquor & Gaming NSW has the authority to investigate any possible misconduct, mismanagement or wrongful use of funds and assets by anyone who conducts gaming activities in NSW.

We can also look into suspicions or allegations of breaches of the law.

The Investigating Community Gaming Activities fact sheet (PDF, 327KB) explains what you can do if you suspect something is wrong, and what powers we have to investigate.
