  • Liquor must not be sold or supplied during the lock out period (from 1.30 am).*

  • A uniformed and licensed security officer must be deployed at all entrances and exits in use (from 1.30 am).*

  • The licensee must ensure that no patron has access to any glass drinking vessels or glass container (such as a bottle or jug) from which drinks can be poured during the lock out period (from 1.30 am).*

  • During the lock out period, CCTV coverage must record all entries and exits to the hotel and the entire exempt area within the hotel. CCTV must clearly capture all movement into and out of the exempted area.*

  • From 1.00 am until 1.30 am, a patron must not be sold or supplied more than two alcoholic beverages in a single transaction.

  • There is adequate staff supervision throughout the hotel during the lock out period to assist security and ensure compliance with the conditions and measures.

  • The plan of management submitted in support of the application for exemption is adhered to.

  • The licensee is to maintain active participation in the local liquor accord.

  • No entertainment is to be provided during the lock out period (other than gaming or background entertainment).

  • Signage to be displayed at all entry points advising violent conduct or anti-social behaviour will result in removal or banning.

  • There must be staff supervision throughout the hotel during the lock out period to assist the security officer and ensure compliance with the conditions and measures.

  • The plan of management submitted in support of the application for exemption must be adhered to.

  • The licensee is to maintain active participation in the local liquor accord.

  • No entertainment is to be provided during the lock out period (other than gaming or background entertainment).

  • The licensee or his/her representative will communicate with the local licensing police for the area on a regular basis and at least once every three months during the first month of the exemption, and then afterwards as deemed necessary, to ascertain whether NSW Police are aware of any issues as a result of patrons entering the hotel during the lock out period.
