All licensed premises in the Kings Cross precinct must comply with the Plan of Management for the Kings Cross Precinct
The following organisations help to implement the plan:
Transport for NSW
the City of Sydney
Sydney CBD liquor accords
major venue and chain owners
the Taxi Council.
The plan aims to:
reduce alcohol-related violence and bad behaviour in licensed venues
manage public spaces
promote better transport options.
Some conditions in the plan apply to all licensed premises in the precinct. Others apply only to certain licence categories.
New Year's Eve is unique, so the lock outs on licensed venues across the Kings Cross precinct does not apply. However, the 3am halt to alcohol service remains.
You can get exemptions from special conditions in some circumstances.

All venues in the precinct which are licensed to trade after 8pm must complete and submit an Alcohol Sales Data form every quarter. This form records the amount and type of alcohol sold each hour between 8pm and 5am.
The forms for quarterly collection of alcohol sales data are available below. This is the approved form, which must be used by all licensed venues subject to the alcohol sales data reporting requirement. Separate forms are available for high risk venues and all other venues.
