The following base fees apply for each licence type in 2017.
This loading applies if a premises is authorised to regularly trade after midnight.
Trading hours risk loading fee
You can reduce your trading hours risk loading fee by applying for an occasional extended trading condition.

Compliance risk loadings apply if, in the past calendar year, licensees and managers have committed serious liquor law offences, or a venue was listed as a declared premises under the Violent Venues scheme.
Compliance risk loading fees include:
Your compliance history risk loading fee will be based on your compliance history in the previous calendar year. The level of your fee will be dependent on the number of prescribed offence events committed at your licensed premises, or if your venue was listed as a Level 1 or 2 declared premises under the Violent Venues scheme.

Note: If more than one of these loadings is applicable to you, you will only be required to pay the highest amount.
A patron capacity risk loading fee will apply if you are subject to a compliance history risk loading fee. Your patron capacity risk loading fee will be based on the number of people your venue is allowed to hold:
Note: Accommodation areas are not taken to be included in the patron capacity of a venue.

A location risk loading fee will apply if you are subject to a compliance history risk loading fee.
The $2,000 location risk loading applies to any venue in the Kings Cross and Sydney CBD Entertainment precincts.

Late payment fees apply to licences where full payment is not received by the due date, and the licence is suspended.
An application for reinstatement of a licence cancelled for non-payment of fees requires full payment of the licence fee, late fee and reinstatement fee.
