Liquor and Gaming Application Noticeboard

    Anyone can visit our online Liquor and Gaming application ​​noticeboard to check the status of liquor and gaming related licence applications in NSW.

    The noticeboard lists all liquor applications and applications for gaming machine entitlements, transfers and threshold increases.

    The noticeboard is current up to the day of your search, so you can learn about the latest event​​​​s involving liquor and gaming licences in your neighbourhood.

    ​How to search the application noticeboard

    The Liquor and Gaming Application Noticeboard​ can be used to search for applications for gaming machine entitlements, transfers and threshold increases by area.

    1. Simple search

    Write the name of the suburb you want to investigate in the main box and hit SEARCH.

    2. Advanced search

    This method allows you to search by:

    • suburb
    • postcode
    • local government area
    • type of application
    • application status
    • date.

    How to make a submission

    To make a submission, access the Liquor and Gaming Application Noticeboard​:

    • ​find the liquor licence application using either search option
    • click on the liquor licence application number
    • fill in the form that appears and email, post or deliver it to us.

    Use the form that appears if you want to make a submission in relation to any of the following applications:

    • Liquor licence
    • Authorisation on a liquor licence
    • Gaming machine threshold increases with Class 1 and Class 2 Location Impact Assessment (LIA)
    • Gaming machine dealer's licence

    How to apply for a review

    Search the Liquor and Gaming Application Noticeboard​ to find an application. Complete the form APP998 Review of delegated ILGA decisions made by L&GNSW (PDF, 866KB).

    What you can find out

    Both searches will tell you:

    • ​the date we posted the application
    • the application number
    • the application type
    • licence name
    • address, suburb and postcode
    • local government area
    • a copy of the liquor licence notice
    • a copy of any community impact statement or local impact assessment
    • a copy of any relevant plans
    • the date that public submissions and the review period close
    • the status of the application.

    The Service NSW licensing system is an online government database that includes details about all NSW liquor licences.

    Anyone can look up liquor licence records, including information about the conditions that apply to a particular liquor licence.
